Amarinder asks Badal to seek stay on construction of Ghaggar wall
Slamming Badal on his inability to tackle the issue, Amarinder Singh said that Badal need not write letters to Haryana government, but seek a stay on the issue as the move could threaten the survival of the people living nearby
“Given the fact that rains have already started and the speed at which Haryana is constructing the wall, Badal should realize that any delay will prove devastating for hundreds and thousands of people living on this side of the river,” the PCC president added
The former chief minister has urged Badal to file an application in the court, seeking a stay on the wall construction decision of the Haryana government
“Once the wall is completed it will lead to the flood waters submerging thousands of acres of land in Punjab,” he said
