Post Dey murder, cops warn criminals, gangsters

  • In a conference held on Thursday by the top cop with senior police officials, Patnaik talked about "zero tolerance" policy towards criminals
  • Another top official, who attended the meet, told PTI on condition of anonymity that "Patnaik told us to send the gangsters a strong message that their nuisance cannot be tolerated
  • The journalist was eliminated at the behest of underworld don Chhota Rajan, who paid Rs 5 lakh to the accused for the job, police said
